These are some photos from an auction that was held to benefit Carter and his family!
Box Elder, SD
Carter's School had this sign posted weeks prior to the auction
Amazing what a little neighborhood can do when they pull together. This was coordinated by the school Principal and Carter's Teacher. Jackie and I did nothing but attend. They raised over 8000.00 in this auction and Ice Cream social. 3 workers and some friends attended, very special.
There were over 100 items at this auction, all brand new. Many different businesses contributed to the auction, from both Rapid City area to Hot Spring which is 70 miles away and Wall which is 50 miles away. Special thanks to Gold Key Reality and Auction!
Carter's Teacher - Mrs. Coats.
Miranda's children - Destiny, Brendan and Ethan and Jackie enjoying the afternoon at the auction.
They also had a bake sale and a raised a generous amount for the Curran family.
Below is a word of thanks from Carter's Grandparents
Richard and Jackie McPherson
"You never know who's life or lives you touch in your daily walk, it is also so touching when a little 6 year old is faced with this illness as well. Jackie and I have been so touched by the outpouring from friends and community out here. Words cannot express our thanks to all for support given to Scott, Megan, Carter and little Abby."
